Henley Women’s Regatta

Jul 10, 2025

Chiswick School girls rowing crew were assisting as marshals and stake boat holders at Henley Women’s Regatta recently.

It gave the girls the opportunity to meet elite women athletes and see the action close up.

The girls played a key role in the day’s success, volunteering on the stakeboat pontoons with energy and professionalism. Some even stepped up for double shifts, showing real commitment and team spirit. They were a credit to their school, and we hope the experience has sparked a deeper passion for rowing, perhaps even inspiring them to become contenders themselves in the seasons to come.

Chiswick Rowing Trust supported the visit and provided the girls with AIOs and T-Shirts so they looked the part for the event.

Thanks to Abi Klapp who was instrumental in organising the event with Chiswick School students and parents.
