The Pairs Head

The club had six double sculls and two coxless pairs racing in the Pairs Head of the River this year. The course was the normal downstream one of approximately 4.5 kilometres from Chiswick Bridge to Harrods Wall. The fastest Quintin crew were Simon Hunt and Ainslie Rimmer in a Mixed Masters E double, closely followed by Slavo Radosevic and Ian Hyslop in an Open Masters H double (sculling in an H/I/J handicap event). These crews both finished second in category. There was some necessary shuffling of personnel post-entries with Jacqui Sutherland and Polly Atkinson’s Women’s Masters D double scratching and Jacqui replacing Roberta Gargiulo in the Mixed Masters B/C double with Maurizio Conza.
