Sixteen Quintin scullers took part in this year’s Vesta Scullers Head, which is raced over the full championship course from Mortlake to Putney. Conditions were dry and bright but with a strong SW breeze. Our best results were with our mature open masters where Tom Bishop finished second in the IJK category, three seconds behind Rod Stewart of Upper Thames, and Slavo Radosevic finished second in the H category, fourteen seconds behind Thomas Moisley of Vesta. Graham Bagnall was third behind Tom in the IJK category.
